In celebration of World Environment Day, the Department of Computer Science & IT Club organized an Environmental Day Quiz Competition on 5th June 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Conference Hall. The event aimed to raise awareness about environmental issues and promote sustainable practices among students.
The participants of the quiz were 2nd year BCA and B.Sc. Computer Science students, who actively engaged in the competition. The quiz covered a wide range of topics related to environmental science, climate change, biodiversity, conservation, and current global environmental challenges. The quiz was conducted by Fahina Saleem, Assistant Professor of department of computer science, making the event both educational and entertaining.
Students demonstrated impressive knowledge and enthusiasm throughout the competition. Prizes were awarded to the top-performing students Rinash CA and Mohammed Ali Riza. Overall, the quiz competition was a great success, fostering awareness and a sense of responsibility towards the environment among the students.
