The NSS Unit of Assabah Arts & Science College, Valayamkulam played a key role in volunteering at the “Thozhil Mela – Vijnana Keralam” program organized by Aalamkode Grama Panchayath. The event aimed to promote employment opportunities, skill development, and awareness among youth regarding various government initiatives and scientific advancements. A total of 20 NSS volunteers from the college actively participated in coordinating and supporting the program. Their responsibilities included registration, guidance for participants, stage management, ushering, and maintaining order throughout the event. The volunteers also assisted in the smooth conduct of career guidance sessions, employer interactions, and awareness exhibitions. The commitment, discipline, and teamwork demonstrated by the NSS volunteers were widely appreciated by the organizers and guests. Through this experience, volunteers enhanced their organizational and communication skills while contributing to a socially relevant initiative that bridged youth with opportunities.
