The volunteers of the Student Initiative in Palliative Care (SIP), Assabah Club ,actively participated in the “Volunteer Sangamam” programme organized by Karunya Palliative Care & Rehabilitation Society on 19 July 2026 at 3:00 PM at Karunyam Hall.

The programme was inaugurated by Shri. K. P. Noushad Ali (Hon’ble MLA, Ponnani). The keynote address was delivered by Shri. Najeeb Kuttippuram, Founder of ILA Foundation, who emphasized the importance of compassionate care, volunteerism, and community participation in strengthening palliative care services.

The programme provided an excellent opportunity for our SIP volunteers to interact with experienced palliative care professionals and fellow volunteers, enhancing their understanding of patient-centered care, empathy, teamwork, and the social responsibility involved in palliative care.
