SEMINAR ON ENTREPRENEURSHIP AWARENESS AND ROLE OF DIC

Introduction:

A seminar on “Future of Commerce – The Big Picture 2.0” was organized on 15th October 2025 at Assabah Arts and Science College, Valayamkulam. The event was conducted in collaboration with The Hindu Group, Triple i Commerce Academy, and Future India Club under the banner of the Commerce Aptitude Program. The seminar aimed to provide students with insights into the changing trends in commerce, the impact of technology, and the growing opportunities in the global commercial landscape.

Details of the Event:

 

The programme commenced at 10.00 AM with a welcome address by Mrs. Sreeja T (Assistant Professor, PG Department of Commerce).

The session was inaugurated by Prof. Mohamed Koya M.N (Principal, Assabah Arts and Science College), who highlighted the importance of adapting to evolving business practices and developing digital competence among commerce students.

The seminar featured engaging discussions and interactive sessions led by representatives from The Hindu Group and Triple i Commerce Academy, focusing on the emerging role of data, innovation, and entrepreneurship in the commerce sector.

Dr. Salini C.A (Head, PG Department of Commerce) and Dr.Baiju M.K (Vice Principal) delivered felicitations appreciating the collaborative effort and its relevance to modern commerce education.

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Mrs.Juby C.K (Assistant Professor, Department of Management), acknowledging the contribution of organizers, guests, and participants.

 

The programme provided a valuable platform for students to connect with experts and gain practical understanding of future trends shaping the commerce world.

 

Outcomes of the Seminar:
