RESEARCH FOR THE NEW GENERATION: SKILLS, TOOLS, AND MINDSET

The Department of Computer Science & IT Club, in association with the IIC and R&D Cell of Assabah Arts and Science College, organized a seminar titled "Research for the New Generation: Skills, Tools, and Mindset" on December 2, 2025, at 10:30 AM in the college conference hall. The seminar was inaugurated by Prof. Mohamed Koya M N, Principal of the college, who highlighted the significance of research in academic growth. The resource person, C M Sulaikha, Assistant Professor at MES College of Engineering, delivered an insightful session emphasizing the essential skills, digital tools, and the progressive mindset required for next-generation research. The seminar aimed to equip students with practical knowledge and motivation to adapt to evolving research methodologies, fostering critical thinking, innovation, and ethical practices. The interactive session included discussions and Q&A, which helped clarify students’ queries and inspired them to engage more actively in research activities. The event was monitored by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and successfully empowered students with the knowledge and mindset needed for quality research in the modern era.
