As part of the anti-drug awareness initiatives, the Anti-Narcotic Cell of Assabah Arts & Science College organized a reel competition titled “Reels for Real Change”, focusing on the theme “Dangers of Drug Use. “The objective of the competition was to creatively engage students in spreading awareness against substance abuse through short video content on social media. Students were invited to submit reels of 30 to 60 seconds duration in either English or Malayalam. The competition was open to all students of the college. A special attraction of the contest was that the winning reels would be featured in the upcoming college short film, further motivating participants to contribute meaningfully.The event saw enthusiastic participation and innovative content submissions, making it an effective medium for youth-driven awareness. The winners were announced on 10th July 2025, and the selected reels are set to become part of the college’s ongoing anti-drug campaigns.
