On the occasion of World Population Day, the Department of Computer Applications, IIC & IT Club organized a Quiz Competition on 11th July 2025 at 10:00 AM in the Computer Lab. The event was designed to foster critical thinking, competitive spirit, and confidence among students.

The quiz was conducted online through a website specially developed by Mr. Thabsheer, a final-year BCA student, showcasing student innovation and technical skills.

A total of 23 teams participated in the competition, with each team comprising two members from various departments. The enthusiastic participation reflected students’ keen interest in global issues and their willingness to test their knowledge and teamwork abilities.

The winners of the competition were the team from final-year BCA, consisting of Najla Nawal and Adithya P, who performed exceptionally well throughout the rounds.

The formal function began with a welcome speech by Ms. Nandana P V, followed by the presidential address by Ms. Ayisha Minha. Ms. Sushama K offered felicitations, appreciating the efforts of the organizing team and participants. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Muhammed Binzaal P M, acknowledging all who contributed to the successful conduct of the event.

The program was a grand success, promoting academic engagement while raising awareness about population-related issues.
