Introduction

The PG Department of Commerce and the Department of Management of Assabah Arts and Science College organized a two-day seminar on “Project Preparation” on 18th and 19th December 2025 at 1:30 PM. The seminar was conducted under the monitoring of IQAC to enhance the academic and research capabilities of Bcom final year students.

The session aimed at equipping students with practical knowledge and systematic guidance for preparing academic projects effectively.

REPORT

The PG Department of Commerce and the Department of Management of Assabah Arts and Science College organized a Seminar on Project Preparation under the monitoring of IQAC on 18th and 19th December 2025 at 1:30 PM. The session was led by Dr. Baiju M K, Vice Principal and IQAC Co-ordinator, who provided comprehensive guidance on the systematic process of preparing academic and research projects. The seminar focused on enhancing students’ ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practical situations, strengthening data interpretation and decision-making skills, improving communication competence, and developing effective time management and planning abilities. Dr. Baiju elaborated on key aspects such as selecting relevant research topics, framing objectives, designing methodology, collecting and analyzing data, and presenting findings in a structured and academically sound manner. He also emphasized the importance of originality, proper citation, and ethical research practices.

 Interactive discussions and practical insights shared during the session enabled students to clarify their doubts and gain confidence in handling their project work efficiently. The programme proved to be highly informative and beneficial, equipping postgraduate students with the necessary skills and direction to successfully undertake and complete their academic projects with clarity and professionalism.
