On 20th August 2025, the Department of Chemistry at Assabah Arts & Science College organized a Poster Making Competition in observance of World Hiroshima and Nagasaki Day. The program aimed to provide a creative platform for students to express their thoughts on peace, nuclear disarmament, and the devastating impact of the atomic bombings. A total of 10 participants from different Departments participated in the Poster making competition.

The posters depicted a wide range of themes including the horrors of nuclear war, the importance of peace, the value of humanity, and the collective responsibility to ensure a conflict-free future. Each poster reflected the artistic talent and social consciousness of the participants.

After careful evaluation, the winners were announced and honored with prizes during the distribution ceremony on 29th August 2025. The Principal, M.N. Mohamed Koya, distributed the prizes and congratulated the winners, emphasizing the need for continuous awareness about global peace and unity.
