Introduction
As part of the national initiative "Rashtra Pratham – Voices That Shape the Nation", Assabah Arts and Science College, Valayamkulam successfully hosted a podcast screening and discussion session to highlight the inspirational journeys of India’s visionary leaders. The event focused around a special podcast episode featuring Mr. Ashish Chauhan, CEO and MD of the National Stock Exchange (NSE), in conversation with Dr. Abhay Jere, Vice Chairman AICTE and CIO, MoE’s Innovation Cell, Government of India. The initiative aimed to bring forward the stories of individuals whose leadership is shaping the future of our country.

As part of a student engagement and leadership development initiative, IIC in association with Department of computer applications & Department of Management organized a podcast screening session under the “Rashtra Pratham – Voices That Shape the Nation” program, launched by AICTE and the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell. The screening featured a powerful episode in which Mr. Ashish Chauhan, Managing Director and CEO of the National Stock Exchange (NSE), shared his inspiring journey in conversation with Dr. Abhay Jere, Vice Chairman AICTE and CIO, MoE’s Innovation Cell, Government of India. Held on 11-07-2025 at Conference Hall, the event was attended by faculty members and second year BBA and BCA students. The session aimed to highlight the importance of ethical leadership, innovation, and service to the nation. Following the screening, an open discussion was conducted, where students shared reflections on the leadership values and life lessons conveyed through the episode. The program was well-received and sparked thoughtful dialogue among participants about personal growth, national contribution, and the power of storytelling through digital media like podcasts.
