Introduction:
Paper file making is a simple yet creative process of designing and assembling files using eco-friendly materials such as handmade or recycled paper. These files are commonly used to organize and store documents in schools, colleges, and offices. The activity not only enhances one’s creativity and craftsmanship but also promotes environmental awareness by reducing the use of plastic products.
Details of the Event:
The Commerce Club of Assabah Arts and Science College in ass ociation with the PG Department of Commerce and Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), organized a Workshop on Paper File Making on 24th October 2025 at the Library Hall. The programme was monitored by IQAC.
The session began at 11.30 PM with a warm welcome speech delivered by Ms. Raihanath ( commerce club member)
The workshop was inaugurated by our Principal, prof. Muhammad Koya Sir, who appreciated the efforts of the Commerce Club for organizing such a skill-based and environmentally conscious activity.
The technical session was handled by Ms. Haneena Jabeen V, 5th semester B.Com Cooperation student. She skillfully demonstrated the process of paper file making, explaining the steps, required materials, and techniques involved. Students actively participated in the hands-on activity and displayed great enthusiasm throughout the session.
The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Adithya, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Principal, faculty members, the resource person, and all the participants for their cooperation and support.
The event provided students with a hands-on learning experience, encouraged creativity and craftsmanship, and promoted environmental responsibility by reusing materials.
