MEHANDHI COMPETITION FOR STUDENTS

On June 4, 2025, the Women Development Cell (WDC) and ED Club of Assabah Arts and Science College organized a Mehandi Competition and Sale to commemorate Bakrid. The event aimed to celebrate cultural traditions and provide a platform for students to showcase their creativity.

             The programme was commenced with a warm welcome by Shajitha V, Convenor of WDC. The inauguration was graced by Mohammed Koya MN, Principal of Assabah College, who emphasized the importance of cultural engagement in holistic education. Felicitations were delivered by Mohammedunni Haji, General Secretary of Assabah; Ashraf PP, President of Assabah; Dr. Baiju, Vice Principal of Assabah, Diya; Joint Secretary of Azal Students Union of Assabah and Jisha MK, Joint Convenor of WDC. Their words highlighted the significance of such initiatives in fostering community spirit and students' empowerment.

            The event featured a Mehandi competition where students showcased their artistic skills, and a sale of Mehandi designs, allowing participants to engage in cultural expression and entrepreneurship. The programme was  concluded with a vote of thanks by Reshma PT, Convenor of the ED Club, expressing gratitude to all participants and organizers.This initiative reflects Assabah College's commitment for promoting cultural engagement and empowering students through creative platforms.
