As part of the observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, Assabah Arts & Science College, Valayamkulam, conducted an awareness programme titled “Lahari Virudha Janajagratha Sandesha – Life is Beautiful” on June 26, 2025, at the college's open auditorium.The programme aimed to spread awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and reinforce the message of a drug-free life. Various activities were conducted including awareness messages, skits, pledge taking, and interactive segments highlighting the dangers of substance abuse and the importance of mental and physical well-being.The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and members of the public. It was a collaborative effort by the Anti-Narcotic Cell, NSS Unit 240, the College Union (Azal), and Arike SIP, ensuring a well-coordinated and impactful programme.The event concluded with a strong message of unity and social responsibility against drug abuse.
