The Department of Computer Science, in association with the IT Club, organized an outreach program titled KANIV at Assabah College of Arts and Science, Valayamkulam on August 18, 2025 (Monday). The event was centered around an old age home visit with the theme “Sharing Love & Compassion,” aiming to foster empathy, connection, and social responsibility among students.

The program was designed to provide an opportunity for students to engage directly with the elderly, many of whom live in isolation and crave emotional support. Students from 2nd year B.Sc. Computer Science and IT Club actively participated in the visit. They spent quality time interacting with the residents, listening to their stories, sharing laughter, and offering companionship.
The initiative successfully met its intended outcome of “Enhancing human values.” It cultivated a sense of compassion and moral responsibility in students, encouraging them to be more considerate and socially conscious individuals.
