The Nutrition Club and PG Department of Food Science & Technology of Assabah Arts and Science College jointly conducted a seminar on “Immunomodulatory Herbs in Karkkidaka Porridge and Their Pharmacological Properties” on 11/08/2025.

The session was led by Dr. Harinarayanan, Scientist at Kottakkal Arya Vaidyasala. The main objective of the seminar was to create awareness among students about Karkkidaka porridge, highlighting its nutritional and medicinal values.

As part of the program, Karkkidaka porridge was prepared and distributed among students and staff of various departments.
