INTRODUCTION
National Entrepreneurs’ Day is a day dedicated to celebrating the spirit of entrepreneurship and honoring individuals who take initiative to create, innovate, and build businesses that contribute to the nation’s economic growth. Entrepreneurs play a vital role in generating employment, introducing new ideas, and solving real-life problems through their creativity and risk-taking ability.
Observing National Entrepreneurs’ Day encourages students, youth, and the general public to recognize the importance of entrepreneurship in modern society. It also aims to inspire and support aspiring entrepreneurs by providing them with motivation, guidance, and opportunities to develop their skills. The day serves as a reminder that innovative thinking and determination can lead to meaningful change and help shape a better future.
DETAILS OF THE EVENT
The PG Department of Commerce, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), ED Club, Commerce Club, and IQAC of Assabah Arts and Science College, Valayamkulam, organized a seminar in connection with National Entrepreneurs’ Day on 18th November 2025. The theme of the programme was “Ignite an Entrepreneur Within You.” The event was conducted at 10:00 AM in the Library Hall.
The programme began with a warm Welcome Address by Aysha Safa, Second Year B.Com Co-operation student. This was followed by the Presidential Address delivered by Dr. Salini C. A., Head of the Department of Commerce.
The formal Inauguration of the seminar was done by Prof. Mohamed Koya M. N., Principal, who highlighted the need for developing entrepreneurial mindsets among youth.
The highlight of the event was the Keynote Address by Mr. Faisal Cheeran, Founder of IFA, influencer, and a renowned serial entrepreneur with more than 40 ventures. He shared his personal entrepreneurial journey and provided valuable insights into identifying opportunities, managing risks, and building strong business ideas. His inspiring interaction motivated students to think creatively and pursue entrepreneurship as a viable career option.
Felicitation speeches were delivered by PPM Ashraf, President of Assabah Management Committee, and Mohammed Unni Haji, Secretary of Assabah Management Committee, who appreciated the organizers for conducting such a meaningful programme.
