HIROSHIMA DAY POSTER MAKING COMPETITION

HIROSHIMA DAY POSTER MAKING COMPETITION

The Department of Computer Science, in association with the IT Club organised a Hiroshima Day Poster Making Competition at ASSABAH Arts and Science College on August 6, 2025 in the Computer Lab.  The objective of the event was to foster awareness among students about the consequences of war and the importance of peace, while also enhancing their creativity and artistic expression.

Students from BSc Computer Science & Computer Application actively participated in the competition. The theme of the event was "Hiroshima Day – A Gesture of Solace for the Spirits of the Departed," which encouraged participants to express powerful messages of peace and remembrance through their posters. Each entry was evaluated based on creativity, originality, relevance to the theme, visual impact, clarity of message, and technical execution.

The students created thoughtful and impactful posters that highlighted both the historical significance of the Hiroshima bombing and the universal call for peace. The event not only provided a platform for students to showcase their artistic talents but also served as a meaningful reminder of the importance of empathy and historical reflection.
