The PG Department of Chemistry, in collaboration with the Commerce Club, ED Club, and IIC, organized a hands-on training programme on 16/12/2025. The event was inaugurated by our esteemed Principal, Prof. Mohammed Koya M N, who emphasized the importance of practical skills in chemistry education and entrepreneurship.
The full-day programme was expertly monitored by Sri. Sreejith from the Science Centre, Kodungallore. The training session provided students with hands-on experience in preparing various household products, including:
- Oil soap
- Transparent soap
- Toilet cleaner
- Floor cleaner
- Hand wash
- Liquid detergent
- Dish wash
The programme aimed to equip students with practical skills and entrepreneurial abilities, enabling them to produce and sell these products, generating revenue and promoting self-employment.
The programme concluded at 4 pm, with participants expressing enthusiasm and appreciation for the valuable learning experience. The organizing committee congratulated the students on their proactive participation and encouraged them to utilize the skills gained to create successful entrepreneurs.
