HANDS ON NETWORKING TRAINING

HANDS ON NETWORKING TRAINING

The Department of Computer Science, in collaboration with the IIC IT Club and Computer Applications, organized a Hands-On Network Training session on 5th August 2025 at 10:30 AM in the Computer Lab.The program aimed to configure and troubleshoot basic network devices, deploy and secure a wireless network, use tools to monitor and diagnose network issues, and apply skills in realistic scenarios. It was designed to provide practical experience in designing, implementing, and managing computer networks.

The participants in the program are final-year Computer Science and Applications students who actively engaged in the program. The session was conducted by Assistant Professor Subi.K.

Students can understand how to design, implement, and maintain networks more effectively. They gain insights into network optimization, security, and scalability that are difficult to grasp without practical experience.Hands-on training immerses students in real-world scenarios—configuring routers, managing network protocols, troubleshooting issues—which cements theoretical learning and builds confidence in their ability to manage real networks.
