As part of the Compulsory Social Service Programme (CUSSP) for the academic year 2025–2026, the Department of Computer Science  conducted a food donation drive on 19th August 2025. The initiative was led by the final year B.Sc. Computer Science students, who actively participated in the collection and distribution of food items to the underprivileged in the local communities of Edappal and Kuttipuram.

The main objective of the programme was to instill a sense of social responsibility among students and to support those in need. A variety of food items were collected and distributed with the cooperation of local volunteers and community members.

The event was successfully carried out with enthusiasm and teamwork, and it received positive feedback from both the beneficiaries and local authorities. This initiative not only benefited the community but also helped students understand the importance of compassion and civic engagement.
