ECHOES OF EXCELLENCE-ALUMNI TALK

The PG Department of Commerce conducted an alumni interaction programme titled “Echoes of Excellence – Alumni Talk” on 19 November 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Conference Hall. The session began with a welcome address delivered by the faculty representative, followed by a brief introduction to the speakers.

The alumni speakers, Mr. Abdul Rahoof and Mr. Anas M V, both serving as Civil Police Officers, shared valuable insights from their professional journey. They spoke extensively about their real-life experiences in police service, the challenges and responsibilities associated with the profession, and the importance of discipline and commitment.

A major highlight of the session was the discussion on career opportunities in the police force, including entry procedures, required qualifications, and the mindset needed to excel in the field. The speakers also emphasized cyber safety, outlining common cyber threats, methods to stay safe online, and strategies for protecting personal information.

The interaction was highly engaging, with students actively participating in the Q&A session. They gained clarity on career pathways, practical knowledge on safety, and motivation to explore diverse opportunities.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, appreciating the alumni for their time and valuable guidance. The session proved to be highly beneficial and enriching for the students, strengthening the bond between the alumni and the institution.
