As part of Nature Photography Day, the Department of Computer Applications conducted a Caption Writing Competition based on a tech-themed nature photograph. Students were invited to write witty, thought-provoking, or humorous captions combining elements of nature and technology.

An image featuring a small plant growing out of a microchip, which is placed on a circuit board, was shared along with the contest rules. Students from various departments participated enthusiastically.

Rules of the Competition:

1. Participants were to create a tech-related caption for the shared image.
2. The caption had to be original, creative, and relevant to the theme.
3. Only one entry per student was allowed.
4. Entries were submitted to department E-mail ID
5. The last date for submission was June 17, 2025.
6. Captions were evaluated based on:
• Creativity & originality
• Relevance to both technology and nature
• Humour /impact
• Clarity and conciseness

Winner Announcement:

After evaluating all entries, Ms. Adhila Habeeba, a 3rd Semester BBA student, was declared the winner of the Caption Contest. Her caption was lauded for its creativity and witty take on the fusion of nature and technology.

The Caption Writing Contest successfully blended creative expression with technological awareness, making Nature Photography Day a vibrant and engaging celebration.
