The ED Club of Assabah Arts and Science College, Valayamkulam, successfully organized a Business Expo exclusively for entrepreneurs among UG and PG students on Wednesday, 4 February 2026, at 10.30 a.m. in the Seminar Hall. The programme was conducted in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and monitored by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).
The programme was formally inaugurated by the Principal, Prof. Mohamed Koya M. N. In his inaugural address, the Principal highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship among students in the present competitive world. He encouraged students to transform innovative ideas into sustainable business models and appreciated the efforts of the ED Club in providing a practical platform for young entrepreneurs to showcase their talents.
The Business Expo featured various student-led business stalls displaying innovative products, startup ideas, and entrepreneurial ventures. The participants demonstrated creativity, business planning skills, marketing strategies, and financial awareness through their exhibits. The expo served as an interactive learning experience, enabling students to gain real-time exposure to business operations and customer interaction.
Faculty members, students, and invited guests visited the stalls and interacted with the participants, offering valuable feedback and encouragement. The event fostered entrepreneurial thinking, leadership skills, and self-confidence among the students.
The programme concluded successfully with positive responses from participants and visitors. The Business Expo proved to be a meaningful initiative in nurturing an entrepreneurial culture on campus and motivating students to pursue self-employment and innovation as viable career options.
