BEYOND CODE: MANAGING SOFTWARE PROJECTS

The Department of Computer Science, in association with the IT Club, organized an informative session titled “Beyond Code: Managing Software Projects” on 24 October 2025 at the Conference Hall. The session aimed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of effective project management practices within the software industry.
The programme focused on essential aspects of software project planning, including workflow structuring, task allocation, time management, and collaborative development strategies. Through real-world scenarios and practical insights, the session helped students gain a clearer perspective on how software projects are organized and executed beyond the coding phase.
The key outcome of the programme was Project Planning, enabling students to enhance their ability to conceptualize, schedule, and manage project activities efficiently. The session contributed significantly to strengthening students’ readiness for academic and industry-oriented project work.
The event was monitored by IQAC, ensuring quality and alignment with institutional standards. Participants expressed positive feedback, highlighting the relevance, clarity, and practical value of the session.
