The “Alumni Talk” programme was organized by the P.G. Department of Chemistry, Assabah Arts and Science College, Valayamkulam for the students of M.Sc and B.Sc Chemistry with the objective of developing motivation, goal orientation and recognising the importance of lifelong professional growth. The programme was monitored by IQAC.

The session began with a silent prayer followed by warm welcome address by the Head of the Department Prof. Sasidharan T.A., who emphasized the importance of alumni interaction in guiding students towards academic and professional excellence. He welcomed the distinguished guests, faculty members and students to the programme. The formal inauguration was carried out by the Principal, Prof. (Capt.) Mohammed Koya M.N. In his inaugural address, he motivated the students to set clear goals and strive for continuous improvement in their academic and professional journey. He appreciated the Department for organizing such a meaningful programme.

The Alumni Talk was delivered by Mr. Sooraj E.M., UP School Teacher, PCN Govt HSS, Mookkuthala. He shared his academic journey, professional experiences and the challenges he faced in building his career. He encouraged students to remain focused, develop strong fundamentals and continuously upgrade their knowledge and skills.

Felicitation was delivered by Mr. Asif, M.Sc S4 student, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to the resource person for his inspiring words and valuable guidance. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Akshaya P. Haridas, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry. The programme was highly informative, interactive and successfully inspired students to plan their careers with clarity and confidence.
