The PG Department of Commerce, Assabah Arts and Science College, Valayamkulam, successfully organized an Alumni Meet titled “ALUMNI FIESTA” on Saturday, 20th December 2025 at 10:00 AM in the Open Auditorium.

The programme began with a warm welcome to all alumni and guests. The objective of the alumni meet was to strengthen the bond between former students and the institution, provide a platform for interaction with current students, and share professional experiences and guidance.

The inaugural session featured motivating talks by alumni, who shared their academic journey, career experiences, and valuable insights on higher education and employment opportunities. Their speeches were highly inspiring and informative for the present students.

As a part of the Alumni Meet, B.Com Travel and Tourism alumni contributed an amount of ₹5,000 towards the College Development Fund. As a mark of appreciation, mementos were presented to selected alumni in recognition of their achievements and continued support to the department. Faculty members actively participated and expressed their gratitude to the alumni for their presence and encouragement.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of the organizing committee, faculty members and alumni for making the event a grand success. The Alumni Fiesta was memorable and fruitful, reinforcing the message “Once a student, forever a family.”
