The Department of Computer Science, in association with the IT Club, organized an Outreach Programme titled "AI in Education: Exploring Intelligence, Empowering Learning" on 17th July 2026 at Galaxy English School, Kollikkara. The programme was conducted with the objective of creating awareness among school students about the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in modern education and its potential to enhance learning experiences.
The session was led by Ms. Fahina Saleem and Ms. Radhika K, Assistant Professors, Department of Computer Science, who served as the resource persons. They provided valuable insights into the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence and explained how AI is transforming the field of education. The speakers demonstrated the use of AI-powered educational tools and emphasized how technology can support personalized learning, improve academic performance, and develop problem-solving skills.
The session covered important topics such as the basics of Artificial Intelligence, AI applications in education, AI-assisted learning platforms, ethical and responsible use of AI, academic integrity, and future career opportunities in AI and emerging technologies.
