PROGRAMME REPORT – SESSION ON“AI Automation & Job Market: Opportunity or Threat”

The PG Department of Commerce & Management, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and IQAC, Assabah Arts and Science College, Valayamkulam, organized an expert talk on the topic “AI Automation & Job Market: Opportunity or Threat” on 20 November 2025 at 10:00 AM.

The programme began with the Inauguration by Principal Dr. Muhammed Koya, who highlighted the growing relevance of Artificial Intelligence in the modern employment sector and emphasized the need for students to equip themselves with emerging technological skills.

This was followed by the Welcome Address delivered by Dr. Salini, who warmly welcomed the chief guest, dignitaries, faculty members, and students and briefed about the importance of the session.

The session was led by Mr. Muhammed Shareef, Director, Apply4Skills, who delivered an insightful and interactive talk on how AI is transforming industries, redefining job roles, and creating new opportunities while also bringing challenges. He encouraged students to focus on skill enhancement, innovation, and adaptability to stay relevant in the rapidly changing job market.

The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms. Nayana, who expressed gratitude to the Principal, resource person, organizing committee, faculty members, and participants for making the event a success.

The session was highly informative and beneficial, providing valuable awareness and guidance to students regarding the future of careers in the era of Artificial Intelligence.
