The Department of Psychology, Assabah Arts and Science College, organized an invited lecture on the topic “ABA: Career, Scope and Practices” on Wednesday, 6th August 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the College Conference Hall. The session was delivered by Mr. Mohammed Ajmal R S, ABA Therapist at Sanad Village, Dubai, and Consultant Psychologist, who provided an in-depth overview of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), its principles, career opportunities, and practical applications in diverse settings. Drawing from his professional experiences, Mr. Ajmal highlighted the scope of ABA in clinical, educational, and rehabilitation settings, as well as the essential skills and certifications required for success in this profession. The interactive session saw active student participation, with queries addressed on various aspects of ABA careers. All three years of the BSc Psychology degree students attended, making it an enriching and informative event for the department. The session concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the resource person for his valuable insights. The program was monitored by the IQAC.
